Amsterdam fell quiet in March 2020. During the ten weeks of lockdown, the internationally renowned iPhone photographer Annet de Graaf roamed the deserted city. The empty streets became her living room and the few passers-by her flatmates. She captured the deafening silence with her iPhone. These images, combined with brief observations and short excerpts from her diary, make up Amsterdam Is Oh So Quiet, a photographic record of a period that will never be forgotten. This is a wonderful book for everyone who lives in Amsterdam or loves the city.
